About: Hello little fuckers. My name is Ani.

If God had sex with the internet, their offspring would be this very blog.

I'm not an arrogant cuntsucker, I promise :)
Send me a message. Let me get to know you!
You think family reunions are bad? Try a small-town founder’s day 80th anniversary reunion party with 150+ people you’ve NEVER met in your life OR have met when you were too young to comprehend the meaning of poop.

I’m so incredibly drunk right now. If it weren’t for the alcohol, I wouldn’t have gotten through tonight.

Holy shit.

So my parents grew up in a small town in Armenia which was basically founded in 1932 after the Armenian Genocide in order to “reunite” Armenians who presumably dispersed during the genocide. In any event, both my father’s and mother’s grandparents were one of the first inhabitants of said town.

As a result, they’ve developed this incredibly strong familial attachment to said town despite the fact that they’ve lived the past 21 years OUTSIDE of the country in which the town is located.

Nevertheless, it appears that many of these townsfolk now live in Los Angeles. Go figure. They decided to host an 80th anniversary reunion/fundraiser for their school. Needless to say, it was incredibly awkward.

The moment we entered the damn restaurant, my sister and I turned to each other and articulated our discomfort caused by the judgmental gazes. EVERYONE was nosy. EVERYONE wanted to know who we were, why we were there, who we were related to, what we were doing with our lives, if we were in college, etc. etc. They all knew me, but I obviously did NOT know them and was forced to admit that I either did not remember them or didn’t think I’d met them before…..followed by with a response similar to, “We came over to coffee at your house…”

AWKWARD

This is an incredibly pointless post isn’t it? I haven’t been on tumblr in forever. I thought a drunken blog post was past overdue.

WELL HERE IT IS.

I’m fucking drunk.
